for taking copies or just computer print out only? Computer print out may prove to be costly when it comes to taking quite a good number of copies, with quality paper, whereas the cost with xerox may be a little less, when quantity is more! What do you think and what do you use?

For those files that requires fifty to hundred plus copies, of course I am using a photocopying machine. Computer is only good for typing and editing purposes and is good for a few copies. If we do math, having things photocopied is way too cheaper than buying a new ink.

Most of the new copier right now is capable of doing the xerox, computer printing and scanning. We are using these brand of copier in our office and it is doing good the price is the same whether you have xerox it or print from the PC, the only difference and have much cost is the colored printing or colored xerox copy.

It depends on how many copies I have to make. If I only need one or two copies, I use the copier that came with my scanner. If I need a lot of copies, I take them to our local hardware store where I can make Xerox copies for 10 cents each.

If it's something really important, then I will make a xerox of it. I've found over the years that oftentimes computer inks start to fade over the years, and I haven't found that so with xeroxed copies. If it's something that is not important to keep, then I just go with the printer. The printer has good quality and makes professional looking papers, but as I said, the ink fades over the years. I have xeroxed paperwork that looks just as good as the day I copied onto it, and printouts from the same period of time haven't fared as well over the years. It depends on what the useage is which way I'll go because sometimes mass quantity is cheaper at Kinko's or other xerox copy places.

Dear friend, I mostly use computer for my personal purposes and for official purposes I use xerox machines as it has to be taken more copies. Moreover certain certificates are to scanned if taken in computer and it takes a long time and in xerox more copies could be taken with less time compared to computer.

yes, especially if I needed a lot of copies. Xerox copies were more cheaper and convenient than computer print out. It was hassle as well using computer print out because if you scan it and print it out, you have to edit it first using photoshop, the scanned image may have a wrong size or it wasn't that clear. Unlike if you just xerox it, it was quite easy and faster too.
