I usually wear make up everyday. I try to keep it as natural and light as possible but still looking made up,if not what´s the use of putting it on anyways. With all those differnt products on sale nowadys it´s getting hard to select what really works and what doesn´t. I´ve been using the same brand for almost 10 years now and been very happy so far, but now I see that there´s a big boom with Mineral Make up. Does it really work?? I mean,i use foundation to cover up and even out my skin tone. Will mineral make up still do that for me, because i´ve used powders in the past and it really does nothing for me, and it only lasts for a couple of hours max. I don´t want to seem like my mother you know, those kinds of women that use the same make up and colors for centuries!!! and look really old fashioned and too made up,like a mask. But if my make up has worked for me in the past and i´ve always received compliments on my looks,,,,,why should I switch!!! So what´s the deal with mineral make up??? Any comments.........

I am also addicted to mineral make-up. I can't stop myself from buying. I really love it. Some say that foundations in powder form are good for oily skin, specifically Mineral Make-up (MMU). Mineral make-up is good for the skin because it does not clog pores, it has less chemicals, it does not expire, you can use it for how many years. What is important for me is that it does not contain harsh chemicals that can affect the skin.

I don't have anything bad to say about Bare Minerals/Bare Escentuals when I used the kit. I was actually quite happy with the results. Hahaha... And I like the swirl, tap, buff process. I guess the only little issue I have with the whole thing is that I went back to Sephora to purchase new brushes, I was shocked at the amount I had to pay at the register. But I don't know now if it's gone cheaper because it's more accessible now or if it's still a bit expensive.

Thank you for posting this I have been wondering the same thing about it...With the price of make up these days I would really like to get the best for my money...I can't stand it when I pay ten dollars for something and then I get it home and try it and I think it is terrible cause you can't take it back...This is a great topic and I look forward to the replies you get Thanks again!
