We won at the casino

Well my friend did actually. She came down to visit us from Ottawa, Canada, and the first night she was down, we decided to go to the casino. I spent $25, and it lasted me a good long time, because I won about $100, but then lost all of that. My husband spent $75, and lost it all quickly. My friend spent $25, and won $500!
When was the last time you went to the casino? How did you do?

It is so easy to spend money in those places! The last time we went to a casino must have been last year sometime, we took £200 GBP with us and doubled it and came home with it! We would not have done if my hubby had his way but I am so much more careful with money that there was no way I was going to come away with nothing!

Yeah my friend was smart. At our casino we use cards for the slots, you load money on the card, similar to a credit card, then insert the card in the machine. We each started with $25. My friend went up to $300, and removed $250 from the card. Then she won another $300 and again removed $250. When that final $50 was gone, we were done. I got up to $100 at one point, and took off $50 to put on hubby's card because he just kept losing, but my original $25 lasted me a good long time.

Wow, good for you! I'm jealous for sure...I've been to the casino 4 times now and the best I've done (sad to say) was leaving with losing 40 bucks! Last time I went I quickly turned 20 dollars into 70, then dropped back down to 35ish...Went back the next day, lost it all and then some more...
I guess I learned my lesson here though, I should've just quit when I was slightly on top of the game...

I went to the casino about three weeks ago. My niece had comps, so we stayed for two nights. We got a suite, and it was beautiful. Our money was limited, so we did not do much gambling. My niece was winning for a little bit, I was bascially doing nothing with the machines I choose. Needless, to say, we both came back home losers. But the weather was great and we had a good time.
