When I was little I remember being afraid of the petting zoo. I have a picture of my dad holding me because I was afraid of a deer.
There was a petting zoo at the state fair. My toddler who is just over 2 years old was feeding the goats and even the giraffes. He was laughing the whole time, it was so cute and funny.
Do your kids like the petting zoo, or are they afraid of the animals?

My daughter was afraid of the goats at the petting zoo they loved to come up and eat out of your hands. I am glad that they had stuff to wash their hands with when they were done as you can get sick so make suere kids wash their hands after being in a petting zoo.

I don't have kids, but my nieces (5 and 7) like petting zoos. They love animals, although they still need to learn how to treat them all the time. Heck, I love petting zoos! lol. Whenever I go to a zoo (whether it be with famiyl or friends) I also insist at some point that we go to the petting zoo! :P lol. I love seeing the goats, lamas, etc. Like feeding them too :P

Yes my kids like petting zoos, although the last one we went too actually had no animals to pet. We had forgotten that they had got rid of them all when we had the big outbreak of foot and mouth! But they did get to pet some giant rabbits, guinea pigs and some miniature donkeys which was pretty good.
