Fell out with a friend many years ago but still think about her.

For some time an old friend of mine has been on my mind. We fell out several years ago and haven't spoken at all. Then the other night she popped into my mind. I went to Reunion.com and Classmates. com and I googled her. I finally learned that she married someone she met at work in 1999 but I can't find anymore about her. We both screwed up, me as much as her, and I wish I could reconnect if only to say good-by properly. Did you ever lose/give up a friend and regret it? Have you ever search for someone you once knew and found them on the internet?

My Goodness! I will give you a bit on my story. When I was 14 I got sent to my bio-moms in Arizona to live for a while. I met a boy there who was 2 years younger. We hit it off and I started caring deeply for him. I left before school was to start and came back to Ohio. In February of 2007 I was feeling nostalgic and got on myspace. I looked all the people up that I hadn't seen in a while and his name popped up. I looked through his whole page and thought "This might be him, but I will just send a message to make sure." I did and he responded, I wrote back and within 5 minutes of him getting my message, He called!! I fell in love with him all over again, and now 16 years later we love each other more than ever. I was a kid back then and vowed to find him. I still live in Ohio and when I found him he was in Illinois. God has a funny way of doing things, but he brought back my dear love of a lifetime! All these years I regretted my dad coming and getting me, because we never got to say goodbye. I am glad I didn't now, because to me--it's forever. Good luck in your search. I found mine on myspace!

Thank you so much. This is very encouraging. I want to make peace and if possible to start a new friendship. And if nothing else, to move on from the past. Thanks for the post!
