I'm in the middle of a declutter here at my place, and stuff like that is some of what's got to go! I live and work in a tourist area,(County Fermanagh) www.discovernorthernireland.com and am an accumulator of maps, attraction leaflets, tourist guides, promotional videos, photos, you name it..It's gonna be tough sorting out what has to go!

I was right,as It wasn't so easy, but the declutter has been a success, for the most part...the downside being,Having let my relatives give me a hand with all the work,I now can't hardly find things that have either been packed away or been dumped!
Thanks for the Best Response!

Over the years, I have collected quite a bit of ephemera. Sometimes, I do something with it, sometimes, I just end up storing it, sometimes, I even decide to throw it away! I love the cash register receipts that I got in Japan with all the Japanese writing on them.
It sounds like you have quite a collection. That's wonderful. And even better, you actually put yours to good use! I did make a scrapbook of our trip to London and the surrounding areas several years ago. It's so nice to look at from time to time.
I have an antique purse collection but I stopped collecting them 5 years ago when we moved to a state that is very hot and humid. It is a problem trying to store them. I used to display them in our home up north in the U.S. Now, they are packed away.
Years ago, I collected books of matches from all the different places I went. They used to make great conversation pieces and souvenirs. I wasn't a smoker but I'd have them around when my smoking friends visited. Now, I have no smoking friends and the matchbooks are packed away also.
I think that's about all I collect. Oh, except for dust, of course.
