As some of you know I did that other wedding dress for my sister in law and it turned out awesome. I had alot of compliments on it as well. With several offers to make more. So anyway there was a couple there that wanted me to do her wedding dress for her as well as 4 bridemaid dress for her. After sizing them up, getting everything I needed I was well on my way to making my 2nd wedding dress. It took some time as there were 5 not just 1 anymore. But with this one I sure did have fun with it. The bride as well as the bridesmaids were wonderful to work with. As well I was invited to the wedding which was a huge bonus. The night went off without a hitch and guess what I got a few more orders in. So looks like I will be a little busy be for the next several months on making dresses as well as bridesmaid dresses. So heres looking up. I think what I might have to do is wait on opening up a little boutique or selling online because I have lots of orders to keep me busy for at least a year. And with all the good reviews and people getting married these days. I am sure I will get a few more in there. So here is a picture of the bride in her wedding gown along with her 4 bridesmaids dresses. However I did cut off their heads for a discreation thing. So keep in mind there are heads there. Just was cut off.

Congratulations for getting so much of work. The wedding dress looks awesome and I think you would have put a lot of effort on it, it would have taken a lot of time to make, I presume, along with the 4 more bridesmaid dresses. Its a pretty good job and I wish you best of luck for it. May you make many beautiful wedding dresses and get more orders day by day. I myself am a fashion designer so, I know how good it feels to make lots of beautiful, good looking dresses and have lots of work to do with. Cheers again!

That's lovely! As a person who can't sew even to save her own life, I greatly admire people like you. I wish you all the best. :) Cheers and happy mylotting

There beautiful, I love them. I am sure the bride and bridesmaid loved them too, usually the bridesmaid dresses are ugly, not these ones.

You know Polly you are absolutely right. I have been to quite a few weddings over my time and usually can't stand looking at the bridemaids dresses. They are quite pittyful if you ask me. This was the style that she wanted, the color as well as the jewellry pieces that she wanted. I go by what she wants. I am actually really happy with how they turned out. Let alone there were no mishaps as well. I was very honored to be invited to the wedding as well. That doesn't happen to often. But as the bride said to me there were going to be several girls that will be looking for dresses to their upcoming weddings. I got tons of orders as well. :)

Congratulations on your new orders. The picture you attached is so pretty, great job. My mother was a great seamstress also and she worked for the public and they kept her so busy. My mother made my wedding dress also. I do know how to sew but for me I would be too scared to sew for the public, scared they would be out somewhere and the clothes would fall off of them or fall apart. LOL I did make my daughter's prom dress and I was so proud of that and she loved it and it did turn out really good. I hope they keep you as busy as you want to be.

Oh yes they are keeping me busy that's for sure. I think I will have to ask my fiance to make me a sewing room when I am out there and maybe talk my parents (when I live with them when the fiance is gone) to make me a sewing room as well. HAHA. Would be nice and mind you I wouldn't have the spare bedroom all strewed apart. I do have the 3rd dress completed. I am just waiting on the pictures. As soon as I get them up I will make another post of that one. As well as I am half done the 4th dress.
