Dinner is smelling good and I am so hungry

My daughter is making dinner again (something she loves to do) and it is spaghetti and garlic bread tonight. YUM! It smells so good. I am starved and we are having a late dinner cause we got started on it late. But the smells are driving me crazy. My tummy is rumbling.

Dinner was horrid! She messed it up so bad!It was freaking nasty. How something can smell so good and taste so bad I do not know. She didn't get the noodles done and added it to the sauce anyway so they were crunchy then she tried to cook the noodles in the sauce that turned it to wallpaper paste. It was putrid. Now we are all upset cause we are going to bed on bread and water....prisoners get fed better than this.

Ouch! Did she know it tasted bad? Did you end up telling her or did you just pretend it tasted good? What I do in those situations is say it was good but I need some pizza for protein! Then I order pizza.

Hey, I followed your daughter over to one of her discussions and typed in a comment already, to which she gave me a very nice response. I would like her even if she couldn't could. It is wonderful to have someone in the house who not only likes to cook b ut does it well. I understand she cleans up after herself, too. You must have done something right!

I know that feeling why is it when someone else makes dinner it always taste better than when you make it....My hubby usually makes dinner and it always so good even thing I don't like to eat taste great when he cooks it.....
He always tells me when I fix dinner it tastes better but I know better...spagetti and garlic bread is one of our favorite meals. He also makes a great lazana..it takes a long time to make but it always tastes so good.....
Tonight we are going to have chicken fixed in the broiler and sweet potatoes with some green beans....Which is always great....and the smell of it cooking drives me crazy also but the stuff melts in our mouth which is even better.......
me too...its a mouth watering kind of dish for me..i like spaghetti a lot..and tuna salad of course...and i guess i had to cook my breakfast now!!

We had leftover Homemade Lasagna with sauce made with tomatoes straight out of the garden. I think it was better as leftovers than it was the night I made it. I see yours did not end up well. Sorry to hear that. Hey, the girl tried right?

dinner for you, I am a widow but when my hubbie was
alive he loved to c ook and often made dinner for
us . I really loved that luxurious feeling I got from
not having to plan and cook a meal. I also love spaghetti and garlic bread. good luck a nd God bless.

lol u have no idea how funny that is . i cooked diner for my parents and cooked speghetti and garlic bread . yum, it was so yummy lol i think this is so funny
