do you feel like vomiting if you see someone who is vomiting?

my child has a habit that after he goes to the loo and my wife is cleaning him up he has this dentency to throw up. reason? we really dont know. he just does that. maybe he feels yucky and messy that he feels like throwing up. when i see him throwing up ot vomiting i have this feeling like i feel like vomiting as well. so i dont go near him. har har har. my wife has a lot of patience when it comes to something like this.
so my discussion is about when you see somebody who is vomiting whether someone you know or not do you feel like vomiting too?

yeah i always feel that! even watching in tv and there is someone vomitting.my stomach is not that strong very weaky

[i]It depends to me....LIke there are moment when I will be influenced and there are also moment when I can handle it..
When it will be child and drunk, I have a high tolerance that if I am not eating but during trips like I will be in a bus and it is aircon, when someone will start to threw up, I have a lot of chance to follow![/i]

[i]that is why God is very great! He will always give us a partner who will do things that we can't do! and vice versa! LOL!
Anyway, hopefully, you can handle that, if you need a mask, get it so you're there at the back when you son will vomit again! (knock the wood)[/i]

i wish i can be like you. on instances for my child i need to handle it but i cant. i wish i can have high tolerance even for just my child. sometimes i want to hold him or rub his back but i cant go near him har har har. my wife say time will come then i can do it but as of now i hate myself running when my child is vomiting. thanks a lot for the response

no not seeing someone, but the smell yes. the smell his me and i start gagging. i cant clean it up either. its so gross

oh yes i forgot to say that, smell also makes someone puke when she smells puke. and yes the cleaning it part is not for me too. i sometimes pity my wife for she is always the one cleaning it up and she really does not even tell me to help. i really cant stand it, maybe in due time i will get used to ot but right now everytime my son does that i want to run and go out. har har har. thanks a lot for the reponse

Nah, I have a little bit of a stronger stomach than that. I am used to seeing this as I have worked in first responder roles as well as in retail malls where I have been responsible for cleaning up vomit.

i think that is a bog factor, once you get to be used on something then you no longer feel bad or dont feel uneasy when you see soemone vomiting. my child vomits when he has high fever but that does happen seldom only. but now that he is growing it is funny to see him when he feels like vomiting after he went to the loo.

I used to have a major problem with it, I used to nearly vomit when I simply heard someone doing it, but over time I have gotten to the point that I can somewhat handle it and am getting better. I used to feel horrible that I couldn't comfort my husband when he was sick, I would run in with a glass of water and a wet wash cloth and then while apologizing run right back out. Since that and 2 kids who really rarely get sick I have gotten much better, it still turns my stomach but I can handle it when needed. I think cleaning up dog messes have helped as well that used to bother me just as much, but I think having to deal with that has strengthened my stomach a bit.

that is what my wife told me that i will get used to it too. kids really can not control this kinds of feeling so they express it very bluntly. i wish i can get used to it to, or my son can out grow it and he stops doing it. har har har thanks a lot for the response

I really have the same problem as I can not stand when some one is vomiting. I also feel like vomiting if someone doing the same in front of me. I feel really sick to see this. I think it is a very unhygenic thing and should always be done alone with washrooms closed. It really puts me off when I see someone doing this.

it is unhygenic, but what can we do if the one vomiting is a two year old kid. he can not control it and can not run inside the washroom and close the door. so eventually we can see it. if he eats to much and start running around the house he vomits too. my wife is strong and can stand this, but me i cant. thanks a lot for the response
