Yes, I have worked in a part time job before. I worked as a kennel attendant and every attendant there was there on a part-time basis. It was hard work, but I enjoyed being able to interact with the animals that were there.

I have always worked full time, even in my first job and all through high school. Not 40 hours though, but 32 which still counts as full time. I am just now working the full 40 since I am now out of school and I really want some over time because I am trying to save up as much money as possible for college next year. I couldn't work as much as 2 jobs though. I would be too tired. When I went to high school and worked I would hardly get any sleep which is probably why I have insomnia now, so I would usually fall asleep in class. Don't get me wrong, I would still do all my work and pass my classes, but I would sleep after I did the work and during real easy classes. And I just lived off caffiene, so I could have more energy too.

Thats sounds like you are a very hard worker, need really good enough rest so to get all energy we loose when we work. Also i suggest to do some routine exercises so that keep your body fit enough so that you can push it to the limit whenever you require. Any ways hard will not go for waste you will get all you deserve now or another day. Wish you all the best for your future, have a bright future ahead. Enjoy MyLoting.

Having a part time job isn't hampering my business at all. My husband and I own it and he works the business when I am working my part time job. It all works out and neither one interferes with the other one.

Anyways may i know why you are working in a part time job, when you own your own business.? Can you concerntrate on your business.? How do you share the timings..? Is Part time job hampering you own busines growth..?

When I was in college I applied as a service crew for McDonalds I was just few days away before I turned 18.My mom didn't have any idea that I was working part time until I got tired of going to school.I stopped for 1 semester and continued to work. The experience was fun because you earn money. But later on I learned that I need to get back to school to study again.Nowadays everybody has to work esp. with the crisis going on around the world. Now I work full time and I don't intend to look for any other job aside from what I have right now.

Thats Sound pretty wise for me. Ya, Once you have a full time Job, better concirntrate on it because ultimatly thats one which is gona pay you more. And abou Studies, here also you are true about priority of studies over part time job. For all those who are working in part time along with studies or full time job, My suggestion is, do continue working part time but make sure it wont interfear in you regular Job or Studies, otherwise it gona hurt later.

I have not tried that during school or college days. During college days I had that thought. But my college was not in the city. So far from the city. Its really hard to come to city everytime. So didn't do anything. Now as I am waiting for my call letter from Wipro, I am planning to do some part time job. Have tried in so many places also. I don't really want to waste my time.

To have some extra money will be always good for every one. Thats why these part time jobs are available. Its suits our timing and nothing wrong in earning some money instead of wasting time infront of TV. Also you are right about work nature its very much important for full time job, but I dont think for part time jobs much influenced by work nature, its just having fun and making some money.

Yes I have done a part time job before which do not require me to work in an office environment. I worked at home as a content writer. I don’t have a boss or office mates that tend to bug you while working. Besides, I don’t need to work for hours all I need to do is submit the articles in due time which is more convenient to me as I am still in College that time and I go to class for 10 hours a day. As much as I want to have other work besides my part time job, I don’t have so much time after my class. There’s plate need to be done in time or else I have to retake my subject in planning. Now that I have graduated, I’ve been hunting for a good salary work. In the meantime I worked as a freelance Draftsman.

Also you might work with more relax and good environment of you house, rather than this angry boss and annoying colleagues. Anyways wish you a best of luck for your job search. Hope you will get a good or great salaried Job soon.

I have work in alot of part time jobs, from the time i was studying till i enlisted in the army, till i got a full time job, i was still working part time and freelancing ^_^ During my school days and army times, i have to work because of money, as i often dun have enough to spend and so i have no choice.. hehe =D BUt once i finished my army and school days, i had a full time job, as well as a part time.. This time round, my part time job was mainly to fill up my time when i had nothing to do at home during the evenings.. hehe As for now, i'm doing freelancing, and also finding part time job for the mornings or afternoon as i'm often free during those times everyday ^_^ lol

Thats Great Tamara, Nice to here that Part job leading to a full time job. For most of the people it works like that. But one should have patience to carry on with part time job, till they get a full time. Hope there will not be any word called unemployement. All people should get thier own field job. What you say about this..?

I work part time on weekend, four hours on Friday and two hours on Saturday. It make me a man without weekend. Next year I will not work on Saturday. I want a day off in a week, so I can relax and do what I want to do on that day. I think a lot of people have their second job nowadays. Some of them maybe have more than two jobs.

Hi Nizhama, No see from long time. Hardly seen you responding or starting new discussions. Anyways Thanks for replying, ya every one require a break now and then. Even If work over your limit, it should not spoil your health. Try to get a proper rest and sleep now and then. Ya most of the middle class people opt for 32 or 3 jobs to balance thier economy. Nothing wrong in that until unless one will not spoil the health because of over working.

Creations, The logic is simple if you go anywre or you are in anyplace. The logic is 'Do your work, Work Very Hard, You will get paid for everything'. Your work will not go anywre you will get paid for each reponse or comment you write. But all depends about the quality of your response. Do not write single line comments or response write for 3 or 4 lines you will get paid for that surely.

I had a partime job way back in college. I go to school for around 10 hours a day and then after that I work as an ESL teacher for Koreans, for 4 hours.. that makes 14 hours a day. I used the money for my allowance and some if I can save up, for my school fees. Now, that I am already working full time in a big company, I still hae a partime job. I work as a corportate nurse for 8 hours and then after that I work for another 4 hours as a nurse instructor in one of the big universities here in the Philippines. I use the money to pay for my school fees for my Masters Degree. It is very hard to divide my time. I have work, personal life, exercise and I've got to manage it well
