Hate crimes

Hate crimes are illegal acts that are targetted at people because of a 'hate'. For example, racial discrimination whereby a group of people belonging to one ethnic group attacked a group of people from another ethnic group. These are hate crimes. I don't exactly understand the reason why some people do this. But usually, they would mention things like this group of people should not belong in our country or something like that. I know that I am of no help, but I hope that with this simple explanation, it helps somewhat in a way. Well, happy mylotting!
