Last night when im on my way to home, I just feel hungry and want to cook for myself a little bit yummy. So I shift my way to the market. But here in our place you should climed the pedestrian bridge in order to go to the opposite side of the road. But since im tired. I just pass to the road illegally.
I ran quick and when i reach the opposite side, I laugh at myself. Better there's no police to catch me and send me to jail because of "Jaywalking".
Do you have any simillar experience like what have I done last night?
Care to share my friend?

no but my sister did experienced it. the cops just asked her to sing our national anthem
I see your from Baguio.. that was the most dreaded part in visiting Baguio, there were stairs everywhere! we went there last December and I was 4 months pregnant, I thought I would have miscarriage with all the stairs we have to climb!
they won't send you to jail, but good thing that marimar has ended already I am sure if any cops had catch you they would you for a rendition of marimar dance, heard they do that to some

Ha!ha!ha!ha!ha! I also would do that once in a while. Jaywalking! Do you know that I once was caught by a traffic enforcer due to jaywalking...you know what I did... I shouted at the enforcer. Why will you apprehend me? I am not the only one who crossed the street... if you will do that to me, then do that to all the others with me! The traffic enforcer was so frightened with the way I talked scratched his head and he moved back! Then, I without looking back walked away as fast as I could! (ha!ha!ha!)

Sometimes I really am naughty Kaezy dear! My son would tell me sometimes not to do that! But what can I do I should do something to avoid singing National Anthem in front of the people around. Oh that would be so embarrassing. And besides, why only me? There are many of us who crossed the street!

Sad to say but I was there, I may not be a policeman but you'll hear me say things about you. I used to do that, even when I was still in crutches, I still did. But when I started laughing off the Philippine Government, I realized that I was a corrupt person as well because of my disobedience to simple laws, which to specify, traffic law is one. Because of that realization, I started to walk distances to reach foot bridges, I've learned to wait for the green light before stepping on the gas, and lastly, I've learned not to throw my used containers and drink cans while walking or driving.
I also want my child to see this way of life. Somehow, it might be of great use to him when he grows up.

i do that often..i go down to the no unloading zone and run after the jeepneys in no loading zone too..hahahaha but i am being very careful 'coz i do not want to be the cause of the driver's paying fine because of me..and i also do cross the street and not in pedestrian lanes because pedestrian lanes here in our place are very far from the place that i want to cross and go to..hehehe but i have never been caught i am being very extra careful and i do not want to be announced over the microphone 'coz that's what they do to hard headed person's who cross the streets in the improper places

Yes dear, All of us face this type of situation at some juncture of life. But we should try to avoid such types of risky actions. A lot of risk is involved in such cases.Even our life can be at stake besides the fine and litigation.
