I'm so tired of seeing bills come in the mail. Sometimes I don't even want to go to the mailbox. You get one paid, and then another, and another. Yes, bills are a fact of life, but it just is so depressing watching the bills coming in month after month. They are never ending, you get it paid, and a few weeks later it needs paid again. Anyone else share my bill blues? How do you manage your money?

Oh, tlb0822, you don't know? I've definitely got the "bill blues". I just can't stay ahead of them and the just keep piling up! The thing that really bothers me is the fact that I have accepted debt that belongs to my children and it has come back to haunt me. I do not regret helping them but the bills are an anchor around my neck. I just keep plugging away at paying them and realize that one day they will all be paid, except taxes and utilities. Until that great day, I'll just be blue.

My computer has been on the fritz for a while but wanted to let you know that my kids help me hold a couple of yard sales that netted $300 this weekend and last for a total of $600. I put the money with what I earned and caught up the second mortgage and the utility bills. I also bought a little food. This gave me a sense of accomplishment but there are still so many waiting to be paid, I still feel a bit depressed at times. Thank goodness I am up and have a positive outlook most of the time, otherwise I'd crashed and burned years ago. LOL I appreciate your encouragement, helps a lot.

So you are fed up with Bill too? I am going to beat the snot out of him if I can ever find him. He takes from all of us each month. I'd like to put an end to him so no one will have to pay anymore.

Bills are very annoying, but if we realize that we are the ones causing the bills it makes it easier to handle. It's good to write all the bills on a piece of paper with the dates they will be due. Add them up to see how much money is going out per month and analyze them to see if there are any that could be elimated or paid off. On another piece of paper write down your income and budget it all out down the penny, then stick to your budget. It can help you get out of debt and make your money work for you. Good luck

Please do..lol.. it would make everyones lives a lot easier.
Thanks. That sounds like a pretty good system to follow. i'll try it for awhile and let you know how it goes.
