Obama stated that Democrats are strong on National Defense because they are the party of Roosevelt and Kennedy. Um, Obama, while I disagree with a lot of what both did, they weren't Barack Obama. Last I checked, Roosevelt and Kennedy aren't running for president, Obama, you are. What your party did way back when is not the basis of a foreign policy argument, nor is it a reason for me to vote for you!

A very relevant comment if I may say so. Also, in my opinion, (for what it's worth) as presidential materiel, Obama is not even in the same league as either Roosevelt or Kennedy

Just out of curiosity, how do you figure the comment was relevant? Obama may be a democrat, but the Democrat party is a lot different now than it was in either FDR or JFKs day.

I was referring to the comparison of Obama to either of those men rather to the party itself.
