It seems every time I start a discussion in this section it gets deleted whether it has referral links or not. Is anyone else having this problem with mylot. It is turning this site into a bit of a joke.

Hi bayness! May I point out something else? Referral links are NOT the only thing in the guidelines. There is also the part where it says that MyLot is for discussions. I did not see what has been deleted but I have seen a heck of a lot of referral exchange 'discussions' asking for pms and that's all. Surely they cannot be considered discussions? Is this your case too?

What is the point of having a section all about making extra money if we cannot discuss it?

We MUST discuss - that is what MyLot is all about DISCUSSIONS! They should be discussed here though and not in PM's - that is the difference. When a discussion is started ASKING for contact through a pm that is obviously not going to contribute much to the discussion here. Get it?

That is the point, this discussion did not ask for pms

I have to agree, asking for a discussion to be continued via pm gives the the vibe that the discussion is in some way 'cloak and dagger' and that dodgey dealings may be occuring. So you can't reall blame mylot for being suspicious

I think mylot has to take responsibility for the use of pms. If they allowed us to discus freely then pms would not be necessary they are only used due to the limitations imposed by mylot.

I have to disagree with you on this point. The majority of discussions started are complete rubbish. Not really discussions rather Forum chains designed to get responses. It seems an arbitrary Term not allowing people to share money making experiences without them always being deleted

Even with freedom of speech there has to be some limitations otherwise myLot would overrun with all manner of inappropriate posts that way offend and possibly cause some people to actually leave myLot. The tos and guidelines are in place for the benefit of all of us to make myLot a great place to be :)

There are other reasons that discussions get deleted. I am sorry that you are having so much trouble with this site. I would try to go look up the rules on what you can and cannot post. Its no use posting things that will get deleted so its good to have these rules in your head before you start any discussions or make any posts.
