It is not required at all to give your bank details in order to create a paypal account. Just register with paypal using a Personal account and its totally free. Later on once you get sufficient funds into your paypal account then in order to withdraw that amount you would require a bank account number. So that time you could assign one to paypal. Credit cards are pretty risky my friend if the details get fished or something like than happens. The best would be to use a debit card.

thanks a lot razor123. I agree with you, giving out the credit card number is quite risky.

I believe that you can give a bank account. its been so long since I signed up for my account. You will have to get verified in order to use this so I would go ahead and do it. It is a completely safe site and one of the better ways to buy things and get money online. There are millions of people that use this site everyday so I would worry about it being safe.

Mate, How old are you? Seriously. I wouldn't put your parents or your bank account details onto paypal or your parents will have you. And the 3 digit number, or normally 4 is the bank ID. If your not underage and just have poor english, Paypal in some cases is safe and I would put my details onto there as you can send and receive unlimited amounts of money plus get full access. But it does also require an address and a phone number and I think a drivers license, I'm not sure. If you have anymore detail you wish to add to your question post it below. Kurci- Below. || \ /

paypal requires you to have either credit card, debit card or your bank account for them to verify your registration and it is necessary when you apply. paypal is committed in offering their clients a secure place when you give your bank account or credit card account information. i can't tell if it cannot be hacked but what i can tell you is that paypal is a trusted money processor that has been in the market a very long time. the 3 digit the paypal requires you for verification will be reflected in your credit card bill, if you are using it to verify your account, if not and you use your debit or bank account then you have to get that to your issuing bank itself, ask them about the recent charges you had there and the 3 digit number will be reflected there. you must enter that in your paypal account. hope that helps. if you have any other concerns then don't hesitate to ask.
