rumors are running rampant at the moment that Gov sarah Palin of alaska may well be McCain's pick for VP. There are several "tea leaves" as they are refered to that indicate this may be the case. It seems this would be a very outside the box pick if it were the case. She is a one term governor who ran on a platform of cleaning out corruption in the state of alaska. Could this be the ticket balancer McCain needs? needs? I guess we'll all know by noon today anyways.

Isn't there some scandle with her or do I have her confused with someone else? I know McCain is in my state today to announce this the news said 11 am they will be live lol. I'm glad he is not in my city Bush has been here a number of times and they have to close roads and buildings and take all kinds of precautions it really makes me crazy.

She's currently accused of firing someone in her administration for refusing to fire her sister's ex-husband who is a state trooper. It's basically a case of a guy trying to get back at her for firing him. Her sister's ex-husband is still working as a state trooper and there's no evidence of anyone trying to fire him.

Oh, sorry that wasn't the one that I was talking about. I am still doing a little more research on it, but I will tell you it was the one where she exposed ethics violations in the Republican party. I'll get back to you after I get done looking into it more.

I've been pulling for her from the start. She brings everything McCain needs, youth, budget skills (Alaska has a budget surplus thanks to her), executive experience, she's a woman, and she's attractive which is probably McCain's biggest disadvantage against Obama.

Now we know she is the choice. I am curious if this will be of any help to allow drilling in Alaska for oil? My ex was part of a seismic expedition a few years ago check for oil deposits in Alaska and his team confirmed that the oil deposits there are enormous.
