the god can not be so cruel with us!!

what is the purpose of life on earth. each year all over the globe lot of natural calamities strike in a massive way. floods. sunami .lightning , earth movements causing major devastations, volcanoes. and what not!!i think not less than a million people are killed in these so called natural calamities. what is in store for human life in the coming days?

Hi. First of all, I would like to say that we humans are a really strong breed and we won't be goners from all these activities. I guess it is more on nature than on god, the cause of these happenings, I mean.

calamities are God's way of reminding us thay He is still there whom we can trust. because nowaday due to many things that gets our attention, we are now forgetting about Him. So i really believe that it is unfair for some to keep on blaming God for the wrong things that has happened to their life. Havent they even thought of their own life that god has given them? Havent they thought of the blessings that they kept on receiving day after day? Also, must of this natural calamities are indirect or direct effect of what we do to our environment. Just like global warming. which is now the major reason of diffent calamities that is happening to our environment.

hi dear tinker_bel thanks for responding to the discussion. well said they are perhaps the last reminder to us to behave ourselves! absolutely right we tend to have forgotten HIM and have taken every thing under our own belt or seem to think so and forget him .and remember him only when we ned him in our hour of distress . and do not have any thanks giving sort of thing when we continue to receive his blessings one after the other!!

Hey thess are not calamities ....infact these are warnings only issued by GOD to warn human beings to be human . Do you know all the natural limits made by GOD is broken . Human being is cutting forest ,polluting environment ,innocent people are killed in wars..... So I hereby pray to GOD to give me wisdom to follow him..... Thanks Ganesh
