It has bene said that by choosing Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate, he overlooked respected Republicans like like Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, as well as others such for former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge and Mitt Rodney. Do you agree that this can hinder or booster his chances??

I suspect he's trying to get the Hillary Clinton votes. Many Clinton supporters indicated that they did not want Obama. Although I'm not a McCain supporter I believe he made a smart move. I don't know how McCain supporters feel.

I think it was a BRILLIANT move on McCain's part. Sarah Palin has executive experience. She's not a Washington insider. In fact, she has gone against Congress - like when she turned down that huge pork that they tried to give her for the bridge to nowhere. Way to go Sarah! She understands unions (her husband has been in one). She understands what it's like to be part of the middle class. She was able to work with Democrats and Independents - and get things done. She has proven that solid, conservative leadership can lead a state to properity in the midst of a recession. She is a mother of five and has a son who will soon be deployed overseas. Her approval rating is in the 80's and 90's. She's a reformer, with proof that she values change - when change is a good thing. All Obama/Biden have are some slogans SAYING they're wanting to make change. (And to pick Biden to make change makes no sense...since he's been in Washington for over 30 years.)
