If I've learned anything - it's diets don't work. The most effective way to lose weight (and keep it off!) is to eat healthier and excerise. Maybe if you could take 15-30mins out of your day and do some cardio (anything that gets your heart beating faster). If you just can't make any time to, the next time you go shopping (or any activity where you're going to be walking), try walking at a fast pace for a bit. Walking is a great way to exercise and it's super easy (=

No problem, hun. Good luck with losing weight (= It's a hard task, but, if you stick with it, you will lose! Also, just a little tip - stay away from diet pills. Yes, they'll help you lose weight, but I was told it's mostly water weight. And, to keep it off, you will have to keep taking the pills, which is going to be more money out of your pocket. To help with water weight, drink plenty of water, so you will pee - a lot! :P Not only that, water is good for you and helps keep your body cleaned out.

Don't diet! Eat healthily. Ear more fruit and vegetables, and eat smaller portions. And I'm sorry to say, but you need some form of exercise. Even just half an hour a day is enough. I'm lucky as I have access to an exercise bike, but you could do sit ups, or dance.

Walking definately helps! Especially if you walk faster than you normally do :)

I would also love to lose weight and I haven't time to exercise either, apart from housework. The only thing I can think of at the moment is to stop eating but I have no will power either. I would love to go to one of those health farms but I don't think I would like the food. I love all the fattening and unhealthy types of food. I hope somebody can come up with a few good answers.

Not eating will not help you lose weight at all.

I agree with bunzor. I learned my lesson the hard way. Not eating will help you lose weight, BUT, as soon as you start eating again - you'll put on any weight you loss. Also, not eating could lead to binging, where you gain, instead of losing.

Okay, the one thing I found that helps me lose a great amount of weight is Weight Watchers. I don't go to the meetings. I went on-line and found all the information that I needed as far as figuring out how many points I could have and then I went on line to ebay and found a point counter, or they actually have a "free" point counter you can use on-line and then I just do that (once I started losing weight) then I felt like exercising which I do now 1.5 hours a day and I love it :) If you can, I seriously would suggest weight watchers. I have lost over 25 pounds in 5 months and I'm continuing to lose, it's a great feeling :) Good luck.

Well, one of the best ways is to balance out your meals daily. Meaning, instead of eating 3 big meals a day, eat 6 smaller meals in different intervals during the day. This will help your stomach digest food efficiently. Add fiber to your diet. Eat more veggies and fruits and high fiber drinks will help. But of course, you still have to manage your metabolism effectively. Exercising is still the best way. I agree with our friends here. Walking. I walk at least 2 km a day going to work. I commute and I go down the jeep a few blocks away from the office (same as when I go home) and I just walk. Well, if you really want to lose weight (especially in my case as I had to lose a lot), you must give time for it. 15 minutes a day will do. Take care and good luck.

HI, Weight is an emotional issue so I treat it as such with EFT and get great results. The results are you no longer crave certain foods or have a desire for them once the emotional trigger(s)disarmed.I am certified in EFT and have used it for 8 yrs on my own weight issues and clients also.Sometimes its a matter of resolving childhood stuff to get to the core,EFT is a quick and painless way to do it and can be done over the phone or on Skype. The old ways of losing weight do not work because the emotional aspects are not addressed. I can be reached thru my website if you are interested www.freedommotion.com
