How to write cd in linus os...

Can any one sujest me how to write cd and dvd in linux obuntu.. whats the command to be used for it..

X-CdRoast is a GUI interface for Linux and it is working well. Also there is a CD Creator in built with the many Linux platforms. It is working well for burning iso files

try brasero or Gnomebaker from synaptic package manager
