Which type of shoes

i wear work boots and tennis shoes

i prefer the slip on's i am bothers with having laces to tie especially if i am rushing to go in a place..so it will be an extra time i will be spending on tying the laces

I used to wear shoes with laces or closed ones but since I had Diabetes, I preferred wearing those open-toed kinda shoes or really nice flip flops..I have observed that when wearing closed shoes, I easily get my toes bruised from too much walking in the mall or wherever. And with Diabetes, you cant have even a tiny dot of wound or it will grow into a big one when go unnoticed, and might be infected..I dont wanna lose my feet or the whole legs to gangrene..So, I already gave my closed shoes to other people and bought several opened ones, to make it more comfortable and wound free for my feet..

For everyday wear, I prefer a shoe with velcro fasteners. For dress, I have a variety of shoes. If I'm driving, I wear a slip on shoe, but if I'm walking, I wear a lace up shoe or one with buckles. I have very narrow heels and find it difficult to keep a slip on shoe on my feet when walking.
