Relate to .. what?

when you listen to songs do you relate your own life to the song? liek if it is a sad song and you are depressed. or if you are heartbroken and it is about that. can you relate your life to songs? well for me it is not that i cant lol but i just dont lol i never get that deep in songs. and relate to people in real life. what about you

Yes I do. I relate to everything in my life. A memory gets attached to a crtain smell, music, emotions. It is always like that. When I listen to music I recognise something in it if it is good music. I relate. I do not feel or think the same about one song all the time though. How I feel or how I am at the moment plays a part in how i relate it to my life. A song that make me feel stron may make me feel real sad another day.

Hi yeah i dont do this. my friend relates to smell and music. like she likes wearing aperfume because it was what she wore when she met a guy so it reminds her of it. and relates to music a lot. but i dont do this ever.

Yes i do because some songs touches my heart and soul so deeply and sometimes i can't help it. I love listening to songs whether its classical or not. Whatever the music is i relate with it because it happens to me. Thats the real thing about this life. really! Sometimes i reminisce the moments and i also cry like the song of avril lavigne When you're gone and sorry by cueshé.
