No, I'm not brand conscious although I really like some of the branded ones, but if I can't afford them, I just buy cheaper ones that are of good quality and of course comfortable to wear. My mother-in-law is a dressmaker so there's no problem in dresses. I just choose and buy good fabric.

I don't really care about the brand. I just buy stuff that I like and that isn't very expensive. I usually buy stuff because I like it and it's comfortable on my body.

I am brand conscious not because of fashion trends and fads, but because certain brands are better made and use better fabrics than others. I bought jeans at Wal Mart once and I actually treated myself to three pair! I hadn't had the first pair a month when the rear ripped out, across the fabric rather than in a seam. Then a couple of weeks later the second pair ripped out about an inch from the seam for the zipper (again along the fabric and not the seaming) then a couple more weeks later the third pair let go along the fabric under the waist band (again it was along the fabric and not in the seaming!). They weren't tight fitting jeans and I was more than a bit upset. Now, I don't buy clothes at Wal Mart but go to a mid end department store that has prices to rival Wal Mart and the quality of the clothes is much better. I found long ago that designer brands are made of better quality fabrics, and when I find them in the local thrift shops I buy them in a heart beat!

Well, I am not conscious with the brand of my clothes.. I am more conscious about the price lol! when every time I buy clothes I usually look the price first.. If it is too expensive then I won't buy it.. I just like to buy clothes that are cheaper since I really like buying new clothes.. At least if ever I won't used the old one it is not that expensive ... I don't care whether I'm using not a brand type of clothes.. I'm not popular and rich to wear clothes that are branded and expensive.. And beside what's more important the clothes I am wearing isn't bad in the eyes of others..

I tend to be partial to some brands, that I have to admit. But I am practical and rather frugal most of the times, so I go around the mall for long hours, just to find a good quality product plus the comfort, minus the brand. Reading and answering this discussion makes me fondly remember my youngest sister. There was a time when our Mom gave us 2500 pesos each just for us to buy anything we want. My sister came home with two branded jeans and a branded shirt, no more than that. I went home with three shopping bags full of blouses, skirts and jeans, not branded but some of which can still be worn until now (5 years later, guess I didn't gain that much, hehehe). It pays to be "practical" sometimes, that I can say.

I am brand consicense, I will not shop or buy any brands that I have never heard of before. I always shop for most of the same brands and will not buy something else that I have not researched or seen comercials for.

I was once a brand user but then later on I just go with cheaper clothes but good ones and very comfy and ooh look classy and chiq. Brand and cheaper brands are just the same, they'll wear off someday. ^_^

Im afraid my family is brand conscious. It is because branded once are durable. Believe me...I've been there. We tried buying cheap ones...money just goes to waste. After one wash...its faded already. My 16 year old son who grows so fast that he is now 6'1" tall and growing, only wears=this is modesty aside & because of quality= Nike dri-fits., Adidas. Hollisters. But Hollisters are not so nice. The color fades fast too. Nike is the best. Even if he out size them already, they are still in very good condition. My brothers who are smaller than my son, asks for those who wont fit him anymore. My husband wears nothing but Arrow shirts. We buy when its on sale. Very durable. Lacoste will not be practical anymore. My son would love to get the Quick silver brands...but no! Too expensive but not as durable as Nikes. Westick to Nikes.

hi dear dong1970. it all depends if i am buying something for a particular occasion i have to be brand conscious otherwise for casual wear it is not necessary. i go for the comfort part and the fittings.

But the best quality is on the branded one. I bought branded clothes when I have a extra money and when don't have I just looked for a sale clothes. But still I do buy not so expensive clothes but I make sure that it fits and comfortable to wear. I had this experience that branded clothes really last long than those not so expensive. Also I'm a sale hunter. lol

I'm not really a brand conscious, as long as I like the clothes and the quality of the clothes I'm going to buy. But usually I do buy branded clothes for my hubby and my kids... and for me, it's ok if it's not branded... Though at times, I also buy branded clothes for myself.
