If it's yellow let it mellow, if it's brown flush it down? I'm all for conserving water and all, but it drives me batty when the men in my house leave their urine in the toilet (bubbles and all).

Hahahaha! I never thought of it like that. Maybe they do that when they fart and the scent follows them around the house LOL!

LOL If they could only figure out how to use the fart gases to heat our homes, we would never run out here LOL

Um, men aren't the only ones who do this! My sister-in-law has been pregnant 4 times and every time she's been pregnant she swears that it makes her sick to flush the toilet. Honestly, it makes the rest of us sick when she doesn't!

Yeah, I know men aren't the only culprits. That's gross about your sister-in-law. How could flushing make her sick? She should put the lid down before flushing if its the sight or smell that bothers her. Thanks for postin'.

Never, I think it's gross. If you have a well with a shortage of water okay I guess if you must but I wouldn't like that in my house.

It drives me nuts when there is anything left in the toilet. I think it is gross. There are other ways to conserve water. Maybe if I were single that would be different.

Lol. Actually I've only ever seen the first meet the fockers and it made me feel embarrassed lol (I get like that when I see someone else making a fool of themselves purposely or not). I never had the desire to see the second one. Thanks for the response!

Umm...I know some people do this to save water...but no. Not in my house! I have seven children and if we were to do that, it would get to the point that the bathroom would smell like a broken down public restroom at the only gas station for miles on a road trip cross country! Those bathrooms bother me...but when you goota go you gotta go. But there is no way I would have that in my house. We have three bathrooms and if we did that...I am sure the house would start to smell of the bathrooms. As for the boys of the house...they do forget time to time to flush. And I know what you mean by the bubbles. Ewwwww But I will call it to the attention of my boys to teach them. LOL

No way! My girlfriend and I both leave the lid to the toilet open, but neither of us leaves the urine sitting in the toilet. Urine smells too. And it's already a toilet that saves water.

I have a water saving toilet also. But I once read that there are a couple of ways to help save water when you can not buy a new toilet. One is to place a 2 litter bottle of water in the tank. This will take up some water space but not too much to not allow a proper flush. The next is a cheap tank refill system. Instead if the big ballon that rises with the water level. There is a system that operates on water pressure of the tank. So it is less noise and you can change the level with an easy twist of a knob. :)

Nope I don't follow it since my dogs like to drink out of the toilet. So everything gets flushed.
