Do You Redeem Your Credit Card Points?

Have you ever redeemed the points you have earned using your credit cards? 
We have a credit card that earn miles that can be exchanged with a airplane ticket. So far the points is still to low to have it exchanged for a ticket. I have another one that earned points that can be exchanged for items in the catalog. There are petty items that I can redeem already but I would like to have it exchanged for a more expensive item so I am keeping my earned points in the meantime.
How about you, have you redeemed any item or anything? Just curious?

i used to only own credit cards that gives out points for spending. that was until i realised i can't really redeem something good with the miserable points awarded. then i made a switch to cash-rebated based cards. a certain percentage of my spending is returned to me in the form of cash-rebate. it ranges from 0.5% to 3%, depending on the card and where i spend. it's so much better and i am never going to use reward-point based cards again.
as for things i've redeemed, it's usually movie tickets or vouchers worth $10 or $20. nothing much and certainly not something i want. i redeemed these simply because there is nothing else useful for redemption with the miserable points i have. cheers ;p

Yes, i redeem my credit card points, and it's good that banks are giving us something in return for keeping our money with them..

I have never redeemed any of mines, I don't use my credit cards that much, I really don't understand it the redeeming process, I have searched and searched for this information and can't find it anywhere, I don't know why I don't like to ask questions but I guess I can call the credit card company and get the information.

Sadly, I don't even know for sure if I receive points. I think that's why I signed up for it but it's been so long I don't even remember if I do or not. If I do I really don't know how to redeem them. They don't make it very easy to understand how to redeem them and I heard it cost just as much as the plane ticket to redeem them for a trip. Probably something I should look into. Thanks for the post!
