Talking and Walking while Sleeping

Well This happens to me also, My brother got scared few weeks ago because he heard me talking while I was sleeping pretty funny at one side then wierd on the other.

I'm not sure the only thing I have done was snore, and we all know the cause of that, although my brother seems to talk and walk in his sleep and it's wierd, his eyes would even be wide open and he would be talking to no one, he wouldn't even notice me, but that hasn't happened in years. Maybe it is some subconcious that isn't sure whether you should be awake or sleeping and allows you to do things like in a normal day while you are dreaming? I'm no doctor so I doubt I came even close, but that would be my guess.

wheew!! i cry and talk in my sleep, but i am not a slepp walker, i havent tried sleeping and walking at all. i have a cousin though, she is asleep and should would stand and go to the bathroom and open the shower, when she is all wet and dreaming, that's only when she knew that she was sleep walking. she has her clothes on and she is all wet. she just cant believe she is in the bathroom taking a bath and really doing it in the middle of her sleep!

hi rainmark I just once walked in my sleep and wo ke up from a dream to find I was standing hanging onto my bookcase like I had just gotten home from the hospital with my shoulder joint replacement surgery. I had been dreaming I could not walk without my cane and woke to find Iwas standing there and hanging onto the bookcase like I could not walk . which was silly as my legs were fine but I think it was stress that caused that sleepwalking episode. lol.

I only was sleep walking once but I do sometimes talk in my sleep so does my cousen trevor.

I doesn't happen on me, but it happen on my younger sister. When she was still in kindergarten, she use to sleep walking. She would stand on my other sister who slept beside her. And sometimes she will try to open the room's door and go out. But now, she is fine. I got a friend who sleep walking the few weeks before she had her piano exam. She will go down to her piano room and start playing the songs. And yea...she scared her whole family by doing so (she's a fair girl with long black hair). But after her exam, she's fine again. I guess these happened because of the exam tension she felt.

Yes, this type of things happen with only some people, what you can do is whenever she does so, wake her up, may be there's some tension or any disturbance that's make her do that..

i was told it has happened to me a couple of times when i was little, but i dont remember sleepwalking or talking in my sleep. maybe it is caused by some kind of disturbance in ur past that has been imprinted in ur subconscious and wont let u forget about it. so it often comes back in dreams when u r in a deep dream trying to relive it...i dont know...just guessing...

It has happen to me in the past and it was cause by stress and great change in my life. I am not sure if that is what is causing these dreams in you and your brother. I hope it is nothing big tho. Good luck!
