I've been using yahoo mail for a long, long time. I really likke the features and the ease of use. A few months ago, I joined google's gmail account and I find it to be pretty cool. I don't think gmail will replace my yahoo accounts, but I like the fact that I can use my account on Incredimail and windows mail for free! The only thing I find anoying about gmail, is that you can't create folders to save your messages. Anyhow, what is your oppinion? Will gmail replace yahoo mail?

sureky i can say that gmail will replace yahoo. i do agree with your comment that there is folder option, but we can try to manage by adding the labels on selected mails and that can also be accessed and used to classify you mails wthin the inbox itself

Why do you think Gmail will replace Yahoo Mail? It might happen, but I think it whont for a while. I think Gmail has to be a bit more secure, and it has to provide it's members with a better way to organize mails. Essentially, I think gmail is a great email account to have when you sign up to GPT programs or any other website that might get blocked off easyly by other providers (such as yahoo and aol). Honestly, I think Gmail will not replace Yahoo, it think it will be just the same as Hotmail.

What I feel is Yahoomail is better than gmail in two respects. 1. yahoomail is more secured. While downloading for any attachments, it always checks for the viruses which is not the case with gmail. 2. you can create folders in yahoomail and keep your mails accordingly, while you cannot do the same for gmail.

i think gmail will replace it soon. FYI, gmail has feature to create folders and you can set the email to be stored in the particular folder.

I think you got it backwords. Yahoo Mail is the one where you can set up different folders, ant then organise your Inbox mails according to your folders. Gmail does not have such a feature. You can create taggs on Gmail, and add a star to your favorite mails, but you cannot create forlders. I actually find this a bit annoying.
