All alone again!!

Well here I am, I will be living all alone once again, with my adorable cat, Rags. My daughter,her husband and my granddaughter have been staying with me for 7 weeks until they could get a new apartment. Well they are moving into the apartment this week-end.
In a way it will be nice to have my privacy back, but at times it does get lonely living by myself. I love having my 10 year old granddaughter here with me, she is my heart.
I am 56 years old, and disabled, so at times it is really nice to have others here to help me do things that I can no longer do.But I still do like my privacy, and I know my family does too, so I am very happy for them.

i know exactly how u feel sort of torn between the two. you do need your privacy & they do to. it just takes time to get use to living by yourself again but u will. i'm sorry u are disabled. take care.

Yes,We all do need our privacy.But you are right I now must get adjusted once again to being here with just my kitty.Well thanks for your concern about my disability, nobody likes being this way, but we must learn to adjust to it.

Good day... Yah it's hard to be alone specially when one is physically challenged. I can't imagine staying alone in a house with no one to talk to and other things to share with. Having a granddaughter at your side always brightened the days and I know you will surely miss her.
I hope things would get better for you.

well it is hard at times, I have been alone here for about 5 years now. I am home most of the time since I can not work, if it were not for myy cat, I do not know what I would do.It is harder since I have this diabillity.I do really miss my granddaughter, she really does brighten up my day.

you never think that you are alone. you are not alone. We can meet here and share our happiness and worries. At the same time you need some privacy.

Yes, it is nice to have family for a while, but we all need our freedom too.You are right there is nothing like grandchildren, they are so wonderful. I am sure yours too are very sweet.

When you are used to having people around, I am sure it is rather hard when they are no longer there and you are alone again. I was alone for quite a while after I got my divorce, then when I met my husband I realized how good it felt to have someone else around you. I hope that your daughter and her family moved close to you, so that they can visit often.
