Why start a discussion you know will get deleted?

I've noticed people with more than enough posts to know better start discussions that I ignore because they are going to get deleted. Are people really not familiar with the rules or are they just breaking them to get referrals in a way they shouldn't?

I think its both. I think some haven't read the rules, and some are just trying to get some referrals. I think there some people on here just for that one reason. To get referrals.

I guess I am really not helping the problem by ignoring the topics. It's time to take the extra effort and report it each time I see it.

Hello i am new here.. where is the rules anyway, i try to find it but cant found it yet.. can you give some hint which kind of discussion is safe from being deleted?
