I can't speak for everyone, but I will speak for myself. I consider myself a winner in everything that I do and you should too. The reason why I say this, is because out of the millions of sperm that were competing to create life. You and I both won the race. If we can all win that simple race for life, imagine all of the other wonderful races we can win!? So, for the people that can see a better future and do something natural to correspond with that thought or belief, yes they will absolutely see a better, brighter future. For some people, that won't be the case, because of some of their situations in life has conditioned them to stop dreaming or pursuing their personal goals or dreams. Which is sad.

Of course it will get better! It always does. The big question is, how will we survive until it does? Many of us are learning for the first time how to be frugal. Those lessons are good, no matter how things work out. However, many businesses are closing because we can't afford to be their clientele anymore. We're even getting some better nutrition when we can't afford to buy our lunches anymore, so we brown-bg lunch. I'm not trying to be a Pollyanna; I just have to remind myself that some things are positive so I won't drown in the negative! I also turned to making a little extra money on the internet and in any other way I can. I never dreamed I would be this poor at this point in life, but I'm doing all I can to make it to the upswing in the economy. Hang in there!

Newlands, we're going to make it. There could be a few bumps and bruises, but it'll work out. My husband says it may have been planned to even out the overripe economy we'd enjoyed until recently. He could be right. However it happened, I wish it would hurry up and end!

Economy has up and down cycles. There is a lot of impact internationally too. When at the low end, there will be upswing again.

I think the only way the economy will get better is if there are good paying jobs for people. Because without the pay, things will remain the same. Maybe when the gas prices reach a reasonable rate, other things will decrease in price. I bought two potatoes the other day, and it was over one dollar. I am personally feeling the economical ramifications, because I am unemployed, got laid off from my job two months ago. What I am getting for unemployment is barely paying my rent. So, how am I to pay for food as well as other bills. All the available jobs I am finding are paying less than what I am getting for unemployment, so that is not a help. I hope things get better, because I am sinking deeper and deeper every day. In am not being negative, that's just the way it is. I have no medical at all. The premiums are way out of my reach. I'm not alone, there are tens of thousand other people facing the same struggles.

Minimum wage goes up every so often to help us with the increase in everyhting around us. This is supposed to help us. The idea is to give us more so we can survive. However when we get raises, employers have to pay more so to keep the same amount of profit they have to raise their prices. In the end I dont believe this works.Im sure everything will even out in the end but then I do believe it will repeat again, as everyone knows history repeats itself....
