When my boss comes in he is always grumpy. I have no idea why but he can't seem to wake up in the morning so he is easily agitated. If I have a question... I might as well answer it myself or risk getting an earful. I hope one day to replace him... but for now... I suck it up and deal with it...

A bomb in the mornig, aha? Then my boss is a "frown"guy. No matter what she is doing, she is frowing, and it really makes me feel bad as if I had done something wrong. The more you see her doing that, the more your feel irritated. I would like to replace her as well, but now...I can only talked about it in Mylot... Thanks for responding.Have a better morning~

My boss is a really nice guy who has no clue how to run the place. The nice stops as soon as anyone crosses him, too. That's the kind of boss who needs to be replaced, because morale goes down the tubes rapidly!

Well, the lack of management ability is one major problem I believe. I hate to see all the problems goes to the boss and then is thrown back to us as it was or even worse. This " nice " is not in the right place. Thanks for response~

Yes, my boss does upset me from time to time... and i try to just understand her situation... since she is already 82 years old... an old maid... and all her nephews and nieces are living abroad... Everytime she gets too complicated to handle... i just tell myself that she is quite old... and i should look at her like she is my grandmother... that helps most of the time...

No, I won't say that I don't like my boss because it was through him that I was installed in a job. Having a boss of complicated character however, miticulous, I would still respect and appreciate him because it is a part of the working ethics or code of conduct while working in a company, organization or an enterprise. Grievancies in a working place is the most common issues to be resolved by mediators in the company or organization itself. If I could no longer surmise my boss' attitude, I would confront him by heart during regular meetings when scheduled (of course there are meetings called every now and then in an organization to address all the complaints, redress or wrong done by everybody inside the working place) to let him also know that he sometimes go beyond the level of unwarranted attitude of becoming a Superior or an Executive. By doing it, a boss of impartial behavior would admittedly however, appreciate you for being honest to which such grievances of yours would definitely affects your working habit and become less productive. Otherwise, if you can't do that, you will suffer all the consequences by quitting your job and find another one just to be free from your complaints or redress of your boss.

I have some of the best bosses in the world. I am even freinds with him and his wife outside of work. The head of our department is for the most part a great guy, although if he's in a pinch like trying to get us back on the air you just have to know to stay out of his way. He will stick up for the people in our department though and not let anyone lay blame or mess with us. He stands behind his people no matter what. Above him well they are the hotshots and they like to let the blame for mess ups roll downhill on us peons on the bottem but we don't have to deal with them much, so as far as my bosses go they are probably the only reason I continue to get up at 3AM and go to work each day

I don't like her. She is nonsense, and what she said and did always provokes us. The style she managed, well, it was not a style,it was not management either. She just did, is doing and will be going to do something without thinking thoroughly. She lives in her own inner world.

I'm very blessed when it comes to bosses. In my ten years of employment, my boss has never made a demand of me. She has always asked me to do whatever and I'm always glad to do it since her attitude is so good. The job I had before this one was a different story. I worked under four different managers. The first one was fantastic, the second was OK, and third was an idiot and made life miserable for me and the forth seemed to be in a fog.

I do not care to examine my feelings about my boss, whether I like her or not. For me it is just simply a matter of choice. No boss is perfect, but they are the bosses just the same. So if one cannot stand the boss then we better find another job. It's as simple as that.

Good topic for discussion. A million thanks! Oh well, I never had a good experience with my previous boss. He was the kind superior who was not happy of the good things and achievements I did for the institution. He did not even congratulate me for a job well done. Most of the times, instead of boosting me up, he would put me down. When I would receive invitations as lecturer or guest, there were times he would not want me to go. When I was about to win a prestigious award, he blocked my winning. Most of all, when I wanted just to file a leave, he disapproved it for he wanted me to resign, so I did. Now I guess he is happy without me in the roster, but for sure, I am happier.

Don't worry about this kind of boss. They are simply the poor guy who lacks the sense of self-confident. The more they irritate you, the more that means you're a great employee. You're great! Thanks for responding!

yeah there are often times that my boss upset my day. This is when she contradicts my ideas infront of my officemates and suppliers. I really hate to be brag as failure. Me and my boss often argue on an issue about work, but on the long run im trying to humbles myself with her because she is my boss and i also treat her as my second mother.

It's really nice to see you're thinking in a more open way. Try to like her before you hate her! Still long way to go but it deserve a try. Thanks for replying~

My boss has no backbone and will never address other employees' concerns. It drives me crazy, he is just rewarding bad behavior.

Sometimes I do, and sometimes not very much. It depends on what kind of mood she is in. She is the type of person that is not consistent in her moods. One day she will come in and be very nice. The next day she will be in a bad mood and will hardly speak, or she will be short-tempered and snap at the littlest things. She is nice to people in front of them, but talks about them as soon as they leave her office. I get tired of hearing it. I like her, but don't trust her.

I can image what kind of boss that is. The only thing I would say is that the boss shouldn't work with a mood and I don't like that. But, they are the boss. and it's their call. Happy mylot!
