hi there!
even if manny pacquiao is our countrymen, for me i would still go for Oscar dela Hoya. why? because he has the advantage. He has the height, weight and the longer arm reach. But i am not also discounting manny's great prowess in the boxing arena. i just hope he would change some of his strategies so that he could counter the attacks of dela Hoya.
i am not being unnationalistic or anything..i am just sharing my bet. although i also hope that manny would win. they both are great fighters.

..my bet in this very big event was our own pambansang kamao,pacman xmpre!!!!dela joya is on the stage of papalaos nah,unlike pacman who keeps on shining until now..thoug may advantags c dela joya,ang pagiging malaki nya,pero wala namang malaki ang nkakapuwing..dba?....kayang pantayan n manny ang power n dela joya & mas magaling yung speed nya,,,and ang pinakaadvantage dito ni pacman ay ang kanyang "pusong pinoy"MATAPANG!!!!!! dapat lang dito mailagan ni dela joya bawat bitiw ni pacman ng kanyang kaliwa!!!

For me, Manny is still the best pound for pound Boxer in the world. I knew that he has a 50/50 chance of winning against Oscar, But I believe in his Power. Maybe Oscar has the height and the reach, But still Manny has the speed and also the POWER. The power of "PACMAN's" fist can demolish oscar's reputation when december 6 comes like what he did at David Diaz. I believe on Manny.

I am still sticking to our "Pambansang Kamao" guy, Pacquiao. Although not a fan of his, I believe in his determination to fight and win.

What a dream fight. I bet the streets will be as clear as it could get on the telecast of that fight in December. For me, I'd still go for Manny. They both have skills, the experience, and are really really great fighters. It's still uncertain who would win clearly as it's still a long ways to go and they're both adjusting for their weight classes. Manny will go up and Oscar will have to lose weight a bit. Nonetheless, this match will be a classic.

i am still for manny pacquiao..his coach won't decide to fight him to a champion whom he knows can't be defeated by pacman..and we really should support our "pambansang kamao" he carries our flag and is always bringing home fame and glory in our country so we need to support him..

They have both advantages & disadvantages. Dela Joya advantages are he got a long reach and height advantage and his disadvantages is he is not powerful like before he is lil bit old...Manny pacquiao advantages he is young and quick yet so powerful 200% stamina, but he is shorter than dela joya...so lets see who will be the last man standing.
