Are we there yet?

Because I don't take a paper, I don't see the Sunday comics anymore - or comics at all even during the week. So, I now subscribe online to the ones I enjoy the most. Well, there was one this morning that just struck at the heart of the aging process (for those of us suffering through it) and I thought I'd share. Because it's copyrighted, I can't just upload the image, but I'll put the link in so you can see it. It is why I titled this discussion "Are we there yet?"
It is a comic strip about an older couple enjoying (or not) the "Golden Years" together, called Pickles.

Hey Jerzgirl, I don't read comics but like jokes. I put a new joke on my website every friday. Mostly jokes for women. There's a headline on my profile if you're interested. I don't get the newspaper either. I really don't like our local paper, too biased for me. I read a lot of stuff online and watch cable news on television.
I checked out the link... That is definitely me!!!

I went to your site, but must have been interrupted. I remember seeing the RSS link and the referrals, but missed the joke. I'll have to look again. I just thought this one was cute when I read it.
There was one where he and his friend, like in this one, were sitting and talking about the legacies they'd leave when they were gone. The friend had noble ideas (good person, friend, great companion, etc), but Mr. Pickles - he wanted to be remembered as "The old man who just wouldn't die." LOL
