Have you had a "best day ever"? A day that you will remember for the rest of your life. Like a day you had a special date or something during your high school days. Your first kiss, first date, first everything or whatever that happened in your life that made you so happy and complete. Like you never wanted anything in your life but that moment, or day which was so great that it can never be forgotten, no matter how long it takes.

I remember with great fondness and sadness too the first day that I moved into my new home, gaining my independence away from my parents, I had packed all my stuff up and my friend had come to collect it, it was a wonderful feeling, freedom, having my own place to come and go as I pleased and not to worry about anyone else, having a double bed for the first time in my life, I always had a single. Being given my own set of keys for my home, it was back in March 1998, so long ago but that memory will always be in me for the rest of my life, and will always be the best day in my life!

Wonderful for you! That is one thing that i haven't experienced for myself. Having the freedom to do what you please. I say i haven't experienced because i live with my father and my 3 girls, my responsibility to them restricts me from having total freedom. I am not complaining though, there are just times that i would like to have my own time without the routine of preparing everything for them. Thanks again, my friend.

I guess my 'best day ever' was probably my seventeenth birthday. It was great because I now remember it as my last days of innocence - I guess that seventeenth year really opened up the world to me and after then, it was all downhill! (At least for a while). Truly, though, it was great because I had people wishing me happy birthday, using my name, when I was unaware they knew me at all. I got so many presents from friends and they were really well thought through ones, as well. I had dinner with my family in our capital city, which was awesome, and went out for dessert afterwards in a place that had a jukebox which we of course played Metallica on. I have this saying that 'whichever song I hear first on my birthday will define my entire year' and I guess that day, after listening to Unforgiven II, it kind of did. I'm a bit superstitious/crazy like that. But when I'm feeling unloved or like good times are passing me by, I remember that day and the fact that I've had good things overcome me many times before!
