Is it Safe To Download MP3's in MIRC?

My friends told me that the best way to get mp3's or audio files is from mIRC.
You need to download and install the program and then you can search and download any music you desire.
Are you doing this already? Where do you get your MP3's? Do you know if it is safe or free from viruses?

Its actually quite safe because i used to download all my songs from there many years ago.. lol =D The range inside MIRC is very wide, but the trouble is downloading the whole mIRC program and installing it ^_^
BUt that's not the worst, the worst part is meeting those ple who has got a slow internet connection and u can wait up till 1 hr just to download 1 song from that person.. hehe =D And the more u download at one time, the slower it gets.. So be prepared if u wanna get the songs from there ^_^
