Oh, Mo! Think of it this way: When you work, don't you expect to be paid? Artists are paid according to the sales of their music. If it's not paid for, it's sort of like you've stolen their income. That may sound over-the-top, but I have a friend who is a very famous performer, and she showed me a chart once, that's stuck into my mind. She loses millions of dollars a year to pirates! Each little downloader may not impact anything very much, but add them all up, and it's a very bg deal. No matter how you dress it up, it's still a theft! I'm not saying you're a criminal, but I don't think people realize what the bigger picture shows. There are many sites that offer free downloads for one reason or another. As for the rest, well, they don't charge all that much. If it's music you really want to hang onto, it's worth its price.

Sure it is! You paid for the cd's, so the artist(s) were paid appropriately.

If you really download music that is new now, it is called evil. Many artist track down piracy like online sharing - like Napster who is good now. Its like pain for the artist who stole their music for nothing. Its like downloading warez, it hurts the industry as well the companies who produce music. Downloading old music is good as long you have that music cd in your home.

I often download music videos online.I don't see any evil or kind of problem in it.I used some downloading softwares that are too easy to use and fast to download.
