How to get referrals

I got mine by sending an email out to my friends and family telling them about the site. I have three referrals which yes, isn't that many, but it is better than none, which is what I had when I started! If I have lots of success with this site, which I think that I will, I will promote the link on some forums that I am a member of as well. Promoting on forums is always a good idea, as you know that the people on there love forums already!

i found it difficult to get referrals for mylot. i do have referrals but at present,all of them are inactive. the first few people i have invited to join us here at mylot are my friends. i thought they would find it interesting. apparently,it is not their cup of tea.

Hi there stellarjade! I have always had trouble of getting referrals too. I try sending mails to my friends to encourage them to join us here. While others responded positively, others are simply just not interested. Among those who signed-up, very few got actively involved in myLot activities. Now, only my boyfriend is fairly active. Another referral came from another forum -- fairly active as well. Another is a student of mine and well, her referrals are more active than her. Maybe you should tell your family and friends about myLot. Send people your referral link. Good luck to you and I hope you will get some referrals soon!
