Reincarnation Vs. Other faiths

I'd like to discuss the likelihood of reincarnation vs other faiths. I think the odds of being reincarnated are high because. 1. Before I was conceived, I didn't exist. But now I do. So being non-existent proved to be only temporary. Nothing in the universe is truly permanent, so why should "nothingness" be? 2. Do you think the few basic chemicals that made up you in the beginning of your life can never be replicated by the universe? I think it can, but if it can't, what about the "self", or the mind? They don't seem to need that many attributes, and I'm not talking about the brain. Since its proven that the atoms that make up your brain will never really "disappear", so which exact combination of atoms are necessary to call you "you. It can't even be an "exact" combination because 100% of your brain is undergoing change 100% of the time, just like everything in the unvierse. And, see if someone looses a big part of their brain and still lives, they still report being themselves, bodily functions and many brain functions have ceased, but the self was just watching all of that anyway. So the self is not a physical part of the brain, its just something that emerges in there. Think about when you slam your finger between the door or something, for a split second there your "self" was existing in the finger. So you're probably never born again exactly the same, physically. The brain and everything physical comes from genetics. But as determinism has proved there doesn't seem to be any "self" responsible for the actions caused by the brain. "self" must be non-causal which would imply non-material.. or non-existent. So why is there an observer in the brain when it could be fully on autopilot? This observer is the "self" that I'm talking about, and this would imply it's not non-existent. And I think this "self" is the same type of "self" that rests in all animals. Because when you deduct every function of the brain and where the signals are sent and handled, there isn't much left that defines how the "contemplator"

I dont believe in reincarnation because it doensn't support in the Bible, When you die you die thats it no more reincarnation. Our brain developed and have natural instinct to function, why would fish have the ability to swin because of natural instinct. I have a nearsighted eyes, I was born to have this but it carries to my son if thats happens it is not called reincarnation.

So you don't believe in anything that's not in the bible? Like science and seat belts for example? What about thinking for yourself?

I dont belive in reincarnation. I believe that everyone was once angels in heaven and then we were sent to earth as children. Thats why they say children are closer to God.

Interesting read here, Aiwendel Here is a link - http://reluctant-messenger.com/main.htm to where I find some of the most amazing things about faith. It has helped me find my place in my own true belief and answered many questions for me.
