No time for me to mylot..

For the past few days its been a horrid time for people in my state..severe power cuts.. the power cuts have become a regular feature.. nearly 5 to 7 hours of power cuts.
I have free time available only during the night time, for few hours to mylot.. but then it is most part of the night time we are forced to spend in total darkness.. Then all i can do is to take rest..have a good sleep..
The frequent power failure has done me one good thing, I have more time to sleep..haha..
I squeeze one discussion in between the time available when we have power supply.. In less than 15 minutes another 5 hour power cut is on cards..

yes this is a big problem for many state of India,, specially for rural area.
but some time it is good for us...
when i was child, i enjoyed power cut,, because it gave me a chance for playing, and relief from study..

Hi Karmendra.. What you have stated as reasons for power cut ( In first comment)is exactly correct.. and no point of deviation from it whatsoever..and i have no other.. reasons to wait for resolving this topic, and it is really the best response.

Hi saivenkaat802003! Oh that is really annoying somehow but just like you said, there is something positive about it..you were able to have a good night sleep and was able to really have enough rest. I do hope however, that the power generation supply in your country will soon be normal again as it used to be so we can see you here more often.

Hi friend..
How are you.. and your Zazzle.. and most importantly my dear Computer geek, how is he?
Annoying it is. But you know, i am a master in sleeping.. i love to sleep all day long.. if i am not disturbed..
Yesterday.. it was another day for me .. i slept from 8.30 pm to morning 7.30 Pm.... total non stop action.. haha..11 hours.. of sleep.

Hi saivenkaat, it’s really annoying if we couldn’t access network during our free time as usual. What’s more it’s for such a long duration.
Yeah, I agree with you, at least you could have more time to enjoy sleeping relaxingly and don’t have to bother much about mylot posting anymore. For me, I surely couldn’t fall asleep if the current breaks down during hot summer night.
Since this is a 2 weeks old discussion, I believe the electric current supply in your place must have restored as normal, and hope that you could enjoy surfing net as usual again.

Oh. That's terrible. Though you get to sleep more :P
I cant believe 5-7 hours of power cut. That's bad. Is the power issues in your state this bad? Here they had such plans but i don't think its in place. Only terrible day is Saturday when you rarely have power :( But that's manageable since the power is back by 5.30 in the eve. Hoping you get the power cuts done away quickly.

Hi Sreekumar, It is the total failure of the government in maintaining the power supply. A clear lack of planning.
As you said, apart from these power cuts which are regular, we have once in a month, a total SHUT DOWN, for one full day,.. from 9 Am to 6 Pm..the reasons they attribute to this is MAINTAINANCE .

Hello dear svka. It is really annoying to have the power cut off every so often. It is the same with the district of my city in my hometown during the summer vacation, even now. They have been installing some new electric poles on both sides of the street. Once they do, it is a whole day from about seven in the morning till late in the afternoon, like after five or even after eight in the evening. I hate it when the work cannot be done soon as to affect our normal life, especially when the weather is so hot in the summer season. I hope that you will soon have your power back with good luck.

Thank you dear for stopping by, but we have no such work carried out by the persons here.. The thing is the state does not have enough electricity to supply to the people here.
More power thefts are going on.. and which is also one of the reasons for this problems.

Your place is very similar with my place a few month ago. My place is often happen power cuts. I don't know the reason the goverment to do that. Almost everyday they cuts the power with approx 4 hours. Sometime the power cuts can happen twice a day with 4 hours for each. So I can't do anything with it. I'm feel sorry with your place condition, hope it will be fine soon.

Wow!! How do you favor with all of this going on around you? I know if it was me, I would be stressed, and not wanting to come to myLot to post. All I can say is sounds like you have a lot on your plate at this time. Just glad you took time out to post here in myLot while you can as well.

I really dont know what is happening in our country why do people just make us a victim for their pleasure and needs i just hate this power cut i feel like running out of my place when i return home from college there is not power supply at home i feel very exhausted and i walk a long distance from stop to my home.. well its nearly 1.5 hours power cut in my country and you know what that is the time i assigned to work here which is totally spent in darkness.. atleast your place is a bit cool ive been to your place in the day its somewhat hot in the night is very cool my place is all the time hot just imagine us... :)

That is a long time to be without power. It does give you time to sleep but it limits the time that you can be here. We don't do that sort of thing here and I am glad. The only time that we lose power is when it storms. I hope that things go better soon.

Why does your country have so many power cuts? I would love to have extra time to sleep but having my power cut for such a long period of time would really make things difficult for me, it is sad that I take so much for granted in my life!
