Do you check a persons profile before responding? / myLot

I do sometimes! But sometimes I just respond into a topic that interest me and don't bother to check the profile! What about you? Do you check a persons profile before responding or do you just check when they add you as a friend? Thanks.

I never look at a profile before posting a response. I may look at their profile afterward, depending on what they are saying back to me.

I've never looked at the profile before posting a response. I would tend to look at it only after i get friendship request of would want to become friends with the person.

I do check their profiles if I get a friend request, just to see what type of person they are

I never check a person's profile before responding to any discussions/comments,I don't find it necessary,but yes at times,when I really find the discussion/topic very interesting,I go and check the profile.Also whenever I get friend's request,I do.

I will generally check someone's profile only when they send a friend request or if I have decided to add them as a friend myself because of a great response they left to one of my own discussions or they posted a topic that intrigued me. It would take me forever I think to check someone's profile every time I responded to their discussion!

I never look at the profile before responding, i just look at the topic of discussion and if it seems intresting to me i respond. I dont even look at the persons profile before ading them in my friend list cause anyways i dont know thenm so everything might be true of fake about them.

CJay, I actually answer questions that call my attention, I do not check profiles, I try to be friends with everyone, if they do something in the future that is against what I think is right I delete them from my list of friends!

No i don't to check person profile before i respond,as long it is interesting then i respond,after i respond to the topic posted its the time for me to check the person's profile.

I don't check a profile before responding. But I do before adding him as a friend to know more about him, how long he has been in mylot, what his interests are, and also the common discussions we've answered. When I respond to a discussion, these things don't matter to me. What matters to me is the topic.

Hi CJay. No, I don't. I give a response at discussions depending the topic or if the starter is a friend. I only go to the profile when they add me as a friend but only for curiosity because I never denied a request. Cheers and have a nice day.
