why does my rating keep going down?

I post and when I submit my post my rating goes down instead of up, this has happened several times now, I am beginning to think I am wasting my time on this site.

I'm new in here and i havent been able to post anything or start a discussion becuase it DOESNT LET ME AWWWWWW. i've only earned 28 cents (

Each time you start a discussion, it takes one away.

keep going with it, i have only joined a couple of days ago but i am finding this site better than all of the other ones that i have tried
