Last night, on the anniversary of Princess Diana's death, we watched the movie, "The Queen." Helen Mirren starred in the movie as Queen Elizabeth and Michael Sheen played Tony Blair, I think. No one "played" Princess Diana, because, after all, who could? I adore her to this day. This movie was a portrayal of what might have happened behind the scenes in the monarchy during the early days after Diana's untimely death. Have you seen this movie? What did you think of it? If you haven't seen the movie, do you plan to?

Hi philjas. Yes, Helen Mirren as Queen Elizabeth was sure great casting. She even took on her appearance quite a bit. She must have done an exhaustive study of the Queen's mannerisms. Thanks and take care.

I haven't seen this movie. I actually started watching it one night and then got caught up in something else. I'm sure I'll see it one of these days though.

Hi sunnflr. I really did enjoy "The Queen." But, I am, admittedly, a "Diana fan." It was an interesting, behind the scenes view of what might have happened. Hope you get to see this movie because it was very enjoyable.
