what do you think most important in a relationship?

i know that in relationship it has to have several things to survive, like you have to have trust and honesty and all of that, and then you have to have a few other things to really make it survive if you want the relationship to last for awhile, i think that honesty is one of the most important things because that can cover the way that you are feeling,if something is wrong, and being honest to that other person that you never cheat, i think that it covers a lot of things in general, but i was just wondering what everyone else's opinion was on this, what do you think the most important thing to have in a relationship is? thanks for taking the time out of your day to read and hopefully reply to my discussion, i hope that you all had a great day and evening and i hope that your night is really great too, thanks again for reading and hopefully replying to my discussion!

You have to have COMMITMENT! You absolutely have to commit to one another. When you get into your relationship you have to get into knowing that you will be with them for the rest of your life. Don't let money or scuffles startle your relationship. Have strength to get through the tough times and patience to get through the extra tough.

For me it's accepting both of you for what you are and respecting each other individuality. Honesty and trust and openess. Being you and and being her it's like you can be everything to her same with you.And loving the person without pretention and really you both really are serious with the relationship and not asking in return. for me the best and most important in a relationship is communication. why???it's most important because misundersanding in a relationship start when both have lack of communication to each other. You should be open to the person you love. Because everything that he/she will know in you, good or bad he/she will accept you open arms...Ofcourse love is also very imprtant in a relationship because without love how will the relationship will work,,isn't??? Trust,honesty,and responsibilities are also some qualities that needs in a relationship.

I think the most important thing in a relationship to make it work is the honesty, understanding and sharing. This are the mean thing I see a relationship should have to make it work.

Communication, absolutely and also a willingness to "fight" for the relationship. It is so much easier to not deal with certain things. But you have to confront those things head one otherwise they crepp up on you.
negative thoughts, doubts unshared and suspicion. Not trusting the other one and not giving the benefit of the doubt.
