Today I would like to say something about my grandpa who was Japanese.
During the second world war, something happened.
Sino-Japanese war, for example, my grandpa lost his Japanese parents.
Thus, he was orphaned at the age of 6.
He had neither bite nor sup for 2 days. Even as he was at death's door, a couple found him and saved him. The couple didn't know my grandpa was Japanese since he didn't say anything. When he was wide awake, they knew the truth.
Under such an awful pressure, u know, during the sino-Japanese war, the couple adopted the poor kid. First, they were too poor to raise another kid since they had already had 4 children. Also, there were implacable hatred between the two nations. The hardest thing was they had to overcome others' prejudice. Anyway, my grandpa was innocent. Thus, they took better care of him than their own children. However, my grandpa had had a very hard life. He was bullied by other boys. Some boys lost their parents and vent their anger to him. As a result ,his childhood was repressed and solitary though his adopted parents always offered comfort to him.
Later, he was sent to a very good school. It was hard too. But he was strong and developped into an excellent guys...
Now, he is a successful person.
Also, he is good at guitar, electronic organ, mournful, drum, u name it.
He doesn't hate anyone though he has suffered a lot. On the contrary, he appreciates the world including his bio-parents as well as his adopted parents.
"I enjoy the peace", he said!
Will u protect the peace?

Your grandfather sounds like an exceptional person. I couldn't help wondering how he, at age 6, got to China. When he stated that he enjoyed the peace, I'm sure he must have been referring to something more broad than just peace between China and Japan, but I'm not sure how broad. Is there still a great deal of prejudice in China against the Japanese?

Nope, everything is Ok now.
During the war, lots of people lost their lives.
So, it is very hard to explain.
However, there is still some prejudice among people in both China and Japan.

Prejudice is a terrible emotion, but it seems that few, if any, people are totally without it. Sometimes it seems that Americans are the worst of the lot. Maybe that is because I know us so well. The most common prejudice is for people who look different from us, like a different color skin. It's not all the white people who are prejudice against those with dark skins. It is common the other way, also. I must say that it is getting better, due to antidiscrination laws and better education
for the young.

Thanks for your kind response.
I don't know why skin colour matters.
This is funny! But I don't mean to offend anyone.
Some while people are actually red, u know. They are not that while. I had a British friend in my freshmen year. That guy is atually white. But he always turned red when he talked to others. At the time, he was much darker than the yellow guys. Yellow people are not really yellow. Some of them are whiter than the white people. I don't mean to compare colours either. Just, I think it is funny.
But I like white cat. I think white cat is more beautiful than other cats.
Is there any relation? It is just a joke!
Have a great day!
