Swimming Ponds

When I was in high school I developed an allergy to the chlorine and chemicals they use in public swimming pools. I absolutely love swimming though. So I was researching alternatives and discovered the swimming ponds! (also known as natural swimming pools) What could be more perfect? A pond that keeps itself clean and healthy by maintaining its own balanced ecosystem. Even better you can design them any way you want, adding waterfalls and sand, bridges, even fish! I like the idea of swimming with my koi. Even better having a chemical free swimming pond on my homestead. Does anyone have something like this? For anyone who wants more information I found a few sites where you can read about them, even order them.

Oh man! I was sitting here all slouched down in my chair, yawning at all the boring sh!t for discussions and was just about ready to give it up when I came on this! Hehehe, now I am sitting bolt upright and wide awake!
My favorite swimming has always been in swimming holes out in nature, with crisp cold water and rocks to jump off with ferns and moss all around! That is my idea of heaven!
I also love a Finnish sauna, and you gotta have some icy cold water to jump into when you are too hot, so I have been planning how I would make my own swimming hole! It never occurred to me to go online and check for something like this!!!! I will be keeping this link and that's a fact! Thank you!!

Awesome! I'm glad I could help you out. lol I'm also glad someone else finds them as interesting as I do! =) I plan to design and build my own wood hot tub, but I'm not much for saunas. Best of luck to you!

That's funny Nekowashu... I do not care for hot tubs, but I LOVE a sauna.
