what to do

so i have a 3 1/2 boy who wants wants and wants but never wants to do i hev come up with this idea and would like some comments 1st let me start off by saying i dont want him to thinkn he has to have money but 2nd i want him to know he is gonna have to work to get it do you thing im starting to young to try to him the responabilty of money. here is my plan i figure i will make a chore chart put it on the fridge along witrh an envlope pu $14 in the enevlope a week each day he doesnt do what he is asked of i will take a dollar away and he will get nothing at the end of the week but granted there will still be $7 my plan with that is to put it in his piggy bank each week up and away and let him have that at christmas time so he can buy his own presents what do yal think

i wouldn't let him get his own christmas presents thats the time for suprise and writing letters to santa,but the other you can never start teahing them too early.i make a sticker chart and a goodie bag,which is very inexpensive,the goodie bag is when she is being very good to reward her on her behavior, makes her want to do better where she can get another one.the stcker chart is for chores and everytime she finishes one she gets to put a sticker on it and at the end of every week if depending on how many stickers she has she gets to pick to do something or have something that sometimes don't cost anything. i just don't know how money will work when its going to save, its just kids want to see results when they're good or they'll careless.

okay my mistake but it would probably be fun for him to have money and go shopping for his family and friends,he'll be able to say he bought it for them and alot of kids enjoy getting for others!
