Well with the new season of t.v. series starting so are some old series. We all remember the Dylan, Kelly and Brenda love triangle from the original 90210 ok at least those of us who grew up in that era remember it. But as all t.v.series do it came to an end and later forgotten til now.. The CW wishes to redo 90210 and give is a face lift. Yes there are new players in the wading pool of the Beverly Hills along with as they say special guest stars yep Shannon Dauherty and Jennifer Garth are back into the fold, though they are titled as special guest stars you have to wonder how long they will be in there.. Jennie Garth ( who played Kelly will be back as a guidance consolur in the season premiere tommorrow. Here is the site to navigate and learn more about the New 90210 a zip that seems not to be forgotten after all.. http://cwtv.com/shows/90210 How do you feel about the directors recreating 90210 even if it does have a new spin? IMO I don't think it will be that successful I have read a little bit about the scenario and find there to be some similarities to the old and new one. The principle moves back to his hometown and with his wife and daughter and son to take care of his mother. The taking care of his mother is the spin. LOL! But two kids boy and girl new to the school. Also twist the father will be their principle.. How many of you think this will last?

I think it will go the same way as many of the other remakes they make with a spin - last a series maybe two if they are very lucky and then pass along to tv heaven! Hugs xxx

I loved this programme when I was younger but I really can't see a remake working - let me know how it is as we won't be getting it here for a while if at all! xxx

my thoughts exactly.. LOL!! you can't redo a classic and expect it to take off. I think 90210 is one of those generation classics that you just can't pull off twice. But out of morbid curiosity I'm going to be watching it tonihgt. LOL!!

I'll send you a site that you can stream it from if they post that one. KK.. Also I think that if you go to the CW website that you'll be able to watch the full episodes but I think they post them like 3 days after it's aired. LOL!!!

I remember watching Beverly Hills 90210 when I was around 15 or so. I enjoyed it then...but I don't think I'd be really interested in watching it or the new one. I don't have the time to watch any television now and even when I do...I can't stick to watching the same show regularly and I am then bound to lose interest.

I'd like to see what has changed too. So, I might just watch a few episodes to know how it's different. But I wonder if I'll have the time to atleast catch one episode..lol.

I'm excited.I am really considering of collecting the original series of the 90s and I hard about this. I am so looking forward to this though I do not understand how Kelly and Brenda will fit in the new 90210. I guess we will really have to wait and see. I don't think this will last as long as the original one too. Nothing will beat the original cast and storyline.

That was my thought but as I said Kelly is going to be the guidance consoler in the school and Brenda came back for and audition and Kelly asks her to help the drama dept. To me it seems as if they are setting up the old characters to have actual roles in the series to help along the new characters.

I saw something about this the other day, they were doing an interview with Jennifer Garth, Gosh I did not even recognise her! I used to love that programme, I loved Tori Spelling and the one who plays Dylan. It was just a great programme and I am just not sure that it will have the same appeal now as it did back then. It is one of those things though that I will have to watch because I want to see what has changed.

yep it's the morbid coriousity thing. My S/O thinks it might have a chance since they waited like a generation or so in a way. He thinks that the younger crowd might give it 4 yrs. I say that it's been done and you can never make the second one as good as the original. LOL!!!

Hey bella, Not a chance in he11 will it last. It was done and should have stayed done! Some things just weren't made to be brought back to life and 90210 is one of them! I watched when it was on and poppen' but that was a very long time ago! You can't go back! As is in life, this will not work! What was good the will not be good now! I won't even turn it on to see the travesty! I'll bet the reviews will be just awful. What do you think?

call it morbid curiousity but I'm going to watch the 2 hour season premier tomorrow and then quit watching because I just have to see what they did and why they even thought it would be a good idea to bring it back!!!

I have no clue but tonight is the season premier and it's a two hour special. LOL!! So I'm going to check it out and see what they did to change it. Because it just doesn't seem like they did much to change it from what they have said about it. LOL!!!

This will not last long. I liked Andrea, and so far, I did not see her in the cast. I loved the old 90210, I do not think that I will like this show. I give it about three episodes.

i think it will do well. i think young kids are goint to love all the high school drama. i watched it twice so far. i didn't care for the premier, but i liked the episode last nite. i may be a bit swayed because the only black young man on the show is a personal friend of my family! so i hope it does well for him.

I forgot that it was on and didn't watch it but I was excited when I heard about it. It brought back some old memories. But nothing is ever as good as the original so I don't think it will last. They should have brought back Melrose Place!! That would be cool!

When I first heard about the making of the new 90210 I thought oh brother. But now that its almost on I'm actually excited. I remember when it was on and watching it when I could. I wasn't exactly allowed to watch it so I had to sneak an episode here and there. I don't know if it will be as good but I think it will have an audience. The younger generation that enjoys Gossip Girl I think will also enjoy 90210. Those of us who were into the old one will probably check it out. Lots will probably compare it to the old and stop watching. I for one will go in with an open mind and if I like it will continue on watching.

I used to watched this TB series. It was one of my favorites. Especially the soundtrack of it. I am too excited to watch its revived series. It will still be as good as before.
