The difference between California and Maryland motorcyclists...

While we were in California on our vacation, we noticed that they motorcyclist out there seemed to be a lot more reckless than they are here.We couldn't believe it when we saw them driving on the freeway BETWEEN THE MOVING CARS! They seemed to think that there was no reason to stay in their lane whatsoever. This happened all the time. I was amazed that we didn't see more accidents from it. Here in Maryland they do tend to be a bit reckless but they normally stay in their lane.
Are the motorcyclists around you careful or reckless?

That scares me so bad to see them in and out of traffic the way they do. Some of them seem to think they can fit a square peg in a round hole sort of thing. Or they think they can come between you and the car next to you when ya'll are going 70mph.

I totally agree. We aren't used to them doing that around here, mostly they're very good about driving normal.
