I know how 2 play organ, i enjoy it so much with the keyboard, but seldom play now. My 'relationship' with organ is quite interesting, when i was 3 y/o, my aunt brought me to a musical school, there were a lot of musical instrument there, especially piano, and my aunt asked me what do u want to learn? i walked towards a yamaha organ and told my aunt: i want to learn this ^_^ that time i felt that organ is more fun. ^_^ just wanna know what musical instrument that u play? or what musical instrument that u want to learn? me myself, i long for learning Harp, i found it quite unique... how abt u?

Two musical "instruments" that I play very well are the "Radio" and the "CD Player". Sorry, I couldn't pass up that joke. I played the clarinet in elementary school. I hated it! I wanted to learn the flute, but they didn't need anyone for that instrument, so I got stuck with the clarinet. I learned how to play the flute on my own after I bought a used flute in a music shop. I also taught myself how to play a guitar, which wasn't easy since I'm left-handed. I first learned on a right-handed guitar and learned all the chords backwards, having to use my thumb for some of them! Once I got smarter, I switched the strings around and learned how to play the chords properly. I've also taught myself how to play the keyboard, although I haven't spent as much time on that as I have the other instruments. I'd like to resume that one day and get a little better than "Chopsticks" and "On Top of Old Smokey".

I play the clarinet, and i think ill continue doing that, since it has many different styles, and right now, im reaching the point where i dont so much need to learn new techniques, but improve on my old ones. I find that however moody i might be when i start playing, after 20 minutes or so, ill be happy again.

I play the piano or keyboard and the guitar, too. My mother has always wanted me to be highly engaged i music and i also love it so i started informal piano lessons when i was 6? i was taught by a deaconess in our church then we transferred houses. i got my own keyboard when i was 11 or 12 then i started formal training i think a year after. i have performed in piano recitals twice as conducted by the music school i enrolled in. i did not finish my piano lessons so the pieces that i can play only reached up to those for grade2 students, though i think my level is only upto grade 1. as for the guitar i learned it when i was 9? i just bought this DIY guitar lessons mini book then i did self study. My dad spends some time if he has to teach me some tricks. i don't have any formal training. as of today i think i only know some basic strumming and plucking. the other instrument that i wanted to learn to play is the violin. it seems to produce very soothing and surreal music =)

Hi! I am not a master of any musical instrument. I do know the basics of some instruments. The most that probably know of or is passable at would be the piano. I took lessons when I was three years old too but I stopped because the teacher was pushing me more towards the singing lessons than the actual playing and so over the years I forgot about what I learned. Then when I was in high school the interest in piano sparked again that I took lessons for almost a year. I stopped because the demands of high school academics was very high that I had to give up the piano lessons. It was also in high school that I 'learned' how to play the guitar. A classmate taught me the basics and I was able to pick up the rest of it by playing with the guitar when I have nothing to do.^_^ I also know how to play the flute. Nothing fancy, just the standard one. So to sum things up, I know the basics of the piano, guitar, and flute. Ive tried the violin but that was just for fun.^_^ I dont get to play much nowadays because Im in college and its proving to be getting more difficult every year. Well, goodluck in your musical passions! Have fun and go wild!

Hi cottonm. The harp is a very nice instrument to play which produces a sound of a dream.:) It is a beautiful sound that makes you feel like you're walking on air. They said the strings are like that of a piano. I also would love to learn how to play the harp. I know how to play the piano, have studied classical music but never reached even third grade because i opted to play pop music in oido. But the first instrument i learned how to play was the guitar. I was 12 when i started playing the guitar. Then later on, the recorder. It's pretty much like a flute, but it's easier and much simple to learn. I hope you will learn how to play harp and perhaps one day, record your play and let us hear it here. Good luck!

Just Guitar, but it's been ages since I've played so I'll have to practice quite a bit to remember a few notes again. I'm also TRYING to learn how to play piano.

Yes, I found this out when a friend of mine that use to play years ago, in the 70's. He's a rock n roller from back when. I brought out my grandpas oldest guitar for him to play and he went crazy over it and offered me $1500. for it right then. I told him no, it was my grandpas and it was going nowhere. He now borrows it alot and wants me to bring it over just about everytime I go over to his house. he's funny. He has tons of equipment, but wants to use my grandpas guitar. They will be passed down to my grandchildren that are interested in music.

I play the guitar, though it's been quite a while since I've held one. I guess it's like riding a bicycle, you never forget how to do it. I learned it on my own as a kid, on songbooks and a guitar chord guide.

I know so many instruments. During my childhood days, I had great inclination towards music. My brother and sister used to learn Indian Vocal Hindustani Classical over an intrument called 'Harmonium'. I don't know whether you have heard of it. I can say it is an Indianised organ. I learnt Harmonium. Thereafter after joining the college, I started learning Mandoline. I can say, it is sort of a Mini Guitor. Thereafter I switched over to Guitor and learnt little bit of guitor. Though foolish enough, I went about learning another instrument called 'Tabla'. It is a percussion instrument. And to cap it all, I tredded on to learn one of the most difficut intruments called ' Sitar '. It is said that one life would not be enough to learn this instrument. So was my journey of learning instruments. I have learnt enough and I have no desire to learn anything else because now anybody can conclude about my musical journey that I am a jack of all and .........

Er hi. I'm new here...Yikes, this is awkward...But I'm a desperate Malaysian with not enough cash searching for harp lessons, and I daren't tell my parents about my desire until I can find a teacher...I currently play piano and flute...But when you find a suitable harp teacher, can you introduce it to me? Hopefully ASAP. Thanks a lot.
